Help Page - The Answers You Need
Wherever human beings are involved, problems will inevitably arise from time to time. This page will help you address any problems you may be encountering
In order to do this, please hold the cursor (e.g. egg timer, pointer, etc) over the relevant subject heading in pink below, and a drop down menu will appear. From the various brands listed, please click on the brand that relates to your enquiry.
General Help and Contact Details
- Here you will find general contact names, telephone & fax numbers, and e-mail addresses for the various brands. Please use the specific headings below for more information on those subjects
Returns Policy
- As different brands have different policies on the return of their goods, then you need to look at their own specific requirements. Some will not require our involvement, as you may have to contact them directly, but as we are keen to be informed of what is going on with the quality of goods we sell to you, we therefore ask you to fill in our ‘on-line’ form whenever possible, in order that we are aware of the problems you may be experiencing.
Paying your Bill
- Frequently a problem in many respects! Here we will provide you with the details, brand by brand, on how you should pay, along with relevant names, addresses, phone/fax numbers and e-mail addresses, should you need to contact someone.
The most frequent problem for us is associated with those paying their ‘Cakewalk’ and ‘Jottum’ bills by cheque. Although it would seem reasonable to assume that you would make your cheques out to ‘Cakewalk’ for ‘Cakewalk’ goods, and ‘Jottum’ for ‘Jottum’ goods, this is not the case. Please note that as these two brands are now owned by ‘Waalwear Kids BV’ of the Netherlands, and as such, cheques should be made out to ‘WAALWEAR KIDS B.V.’ and not ‘Cakewalk’ or ‘Jottum’.
Unlike British banks, banks in the Netherlands will not accept cheques which have mistakes, or have mistakes on them which have been rectified and initialed. There is therefore no point in sending cheques to ‘Waalwear’ which are incorrectly written out, as they will be returned to you, without your account being credited, which may in turn may lead to potential problems with your deliveries.
Re-ordering
- You want more? Good to see that business is doing well, and that items are flying out. Here we show you how to re-order items from the different brands. However, you have to appreciate that the best selling items will frequently be sold out early on, and so it will often be a case of pot luck regarding what is left. Despite this, everyone will do what they can to be of help. In an ideal world for the seasonal clothing manufacturer (unlike those making batteries, or other consumable goods) there should never be any excess stock produced, as this can contribute to financial losses on their part. There is therefore always a balance to be achieved by the manufacturers, between over and under production, and getting this right continues to be something of a ‘Holy Grail’ scenario for them.
